Once, this room boasted a fine Chippendale four-poster bed, but it was sold in the 1930s by Hannah Burn.
Today, it contains a set of typical mid-Victorian mahogany furniture, including a half-tester bed with a feather mattress.
There is also a child's bed, with a straw-filled mattress, particularly useful as the straw could be burned if found to be wet.
Other items include a bedside lamp and bottle warmer, and a wooden crimping roller on the window-sill.
The construction of the house staircase can also be seen from the room.
