Hornsea Museum needs volunteers to help with our education programme for schools covering life in Victorian times (see school visits and Victorian activities ).
The main requirement is that you enjoy working with Primary age children. We'll provide any training that you need.
We always need voluntary helpers to staff the Museum's reception and shop area. A friendly manner and the ability to handle cash are essential, but otherwise training will be given 'on the job'.
We also need volunteers for a variety of equally important duties including: cataloguing collections, site and collection maintenance, and other types of museum work; the main qualification needed for this work is enthusiasm!
