In the workshops we show many of the tools used by village craftsmen of 100 years ago, including those used by wheelwrights, coopers, joiners, leatherworkers and carpenters.

The tools on show range from spoke-shaves, planes, clamps, cramps, augers, and braces, to measuring tools and pitsaws which were used to cut planks by hand.  These represent the primary cutting tools used by joiners and carpenters.
